Blues Funeral è il nuovo album della Mark Lanegan Band, il primo da Bubblegum uscito nel 2004. Il disco, registrato ad Hollywood California da Alain Johannes presso l’11ad Studio vede la partecipazione di Greg Dulli e Josh Homme dei Queens Of The Stone Age. Mark Lanegan ha cantato nei mitici Screaming Trees, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Twilight Singers, The Gutter Twins, Soulsavers ed Isobel Campbell. Mark vive a Los Angeles ed ha due cani. Il nuovo album Blues Funeral sarà disponibile (in formato digitale e CD/LP) dal 7 Febbraio 2012 su etichetta 4AD/Beggars. Dalla fine di febbraio 2012 la Mark Lanegan Band sarà in Europa per un intenso tour che arriverà in Italia per due appuntamenti a marzo, il 24 a Bologna (Estragon) ed il 25 a Milano (Alcatraz).
